Charity Support
We donate half of all proceeds from book sales to charity. We change the charity we support regularly and since we opened the Café we have donated over £1,500 to various charities and local causes.

We donated £112 to Marie Curie. The charity give care and support to people living with a terminal illness. Book Trust
We donated £500 to the Book Trust. BookTrust is the UK's largest children's reading charity. Each year they reach 2.5 million children across the UK with books, resources and support to help develop a love of reading. They aim to transform lives by getting children and families reading. |
Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity
We donated £330 to Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity. They provides specialist nurses and family support for seriously ill children in the UK. The Brain Tumour Charity

St Giles Primary School, Great Maplestead, library appeal
We donated £250 to St Giles Primary School, Great Maplestead, library appeal. The local school were raising funds to turn their library into a learning space for the 21st century. The money raised will be used to:

The ambitious project to refurbish the existing library into a modern, vibrant library and learning centre to motivate and enthuse the students is an important development to ensure the development of literacy remain at the heart of the curriculum. |
